Error code 43

I have error code 43 showing on the dash. I have 12v going to the ecu but my fuel pump won’t run. If I ground the red/blue wire coming out of the relay the pump kicks on. What does the 12v for fuel relay do once it goes into the ecu? is offline

ive currently cut the feed to the ECU which is the red/blue wire and took the red/blue relay wire right to ground so that i can run my rhino. Still ends up with the code 43 showing and the engine light on but atleast i can drive it. Still not sure what tells the ecu to put the relay to ground. everything else on the unit works so i guess the ECU must be bad? is offline
