Angry No electrical power

I have a rhino 660 that has no electrical power when I turn the key switch, no dash , no lights, no anything. It has fairly new battery, key switch. I've already have done what STEVE S said to do for the grounding wires, (pigtail, engine cable to ground) done this way back. The rhino does this randomly, does fine for a few rides, then another day go to start it turn key & nothing. Any help would be great thanks.

One day this happen before no electrical power, I unplugged regulator & dash plug in harness & filled them with dielectric grease & plugged them back up and I had power again. I'm thinking a bad grounding.

On the 660's there is a bullet connector right at the negative terminal on the battery, if it looks burnt you can take it apart and ground it to the frame.

I can tell when it's not going to start back. I have a volt gauge installed, when it's got good contact,my volt gauge shows 12 to 14 something when riding, but if I turn key on sometimes when not ridden a few days it will start, but then the volt gauge will fluctuate between 4 & 5 something volts, then I know if I turn key off after its doing this, it will not start back (no electrical power to anything, key switch, dash, no headlights).

This may sound simple but I would strip off all you can to access wiring and while watching the volt gauge you installed start moving and pulling on wires.

That sounds like a good idea, only I don't even have electrical to volt gauge now,(every things dead like it doesn't even have a battery in it) I seen somewhere on another site that someone just wiggled the back of key switch harness & got back electrical power, I tried that & didn't make a difference on mine.

If you have access to a stock cdi change it to see if that works.

Didn't get a chance to put the caltric cdi in today, but I think I had it in there before long time ago when it would do this, but will try it again, I did jiggle a few wires underneath with key on to see if it would make dash flicker or come on but didn't do nothing.

Checked fuses with a 12v test light & also pulled them out & probed inside housing , when pulling fuses out it also lifted fuse box out a little (where wires run underneath) don't know, but must have moved the wire with the short or whatever, & went to turn key on & had power again to dash , must be a short in wires under fuse box going to fuses, also checked fuses in starter relay, also moved it off its holder, ?
