I have read that it will be hard to turn, but I don't think it would be much harder than the 10" wide tires that are on it now. Only time I really have any issue is while sitting completely still...and thats fixed by simply moving forward a bit.
The question is, will they fit? I got a killer deal on 4 27" tires but they are all 12" wide. Dont want to spend the money and time having them mounted if they won't fit. Its a 2004 Rhino 660.
Ok. Hoping to hear from someone who has actually mounted some on. The 10 inch wide tires haven't hurt anything(not sure what these come stock with). Doesn't seem like 2 inches more would be a huge difference, but thats why im asking.
I may end up just buying a set of 10" wide fronts and keeping the other tires as spares.
Huh...wonder why my 27x10x12's don't rub on the front?
I think im just going to pick up a set of mud lites or knock offs for the front matching my current size. Will just keep the other tires for spares for the rear.
Went ahead an had these tires mounted...they fit with NO issues at all. They don't hot anywhere or even make it harder to steer compared to the 10" wides i had before. And they grip amazing. Wish i would have done this sooner.
Mine havent rubbed one bit and i have had 27's on it since i bought it. I was just worried about putting the 12" wide tires on front. So far I love it...really helped out with traction as well.
I have Mud Lite 26 x 10 on the front and 26 x 12 on the rear now, but I am dropping back in size. I will be ordering new tires in the next few weeks.....I am going to order STI Mud Trax XL's 26 x 9 on front and 26 x 11 on the rear. I did not have any rubbing or steering problems, but the mud from the front tires is terrible even with mud flaps and fender flares.
I want to run 26-10 and 26-12 grim reapers on stock wheels. Can anyone tell me if they will fit? Will I need spacers or lift? Prob ganna do CFM lift any how just worried about clearances with stock wheels. Also anyone have this set up on 450 how was power loss?
I run 27x9.50x14 all the way around my 2008 rhino and my right side rubs just a little sometimes. super swapers good for rock , mub, trails but not to good in sand.
What kind of tires? I just want the look really. I do a little trail riding maybe once a month. I mainly cruise around where I live and my hunting lease. I pretty much baby it and have my small son riding with me.
I do run a 2" lift and 1"spacers on the front and on the rear i have 2" spacers. the tires are a small truck tire. I drive my rhino to work every day and they also good in snow too.
My main concern is it has to fit on a 5' trailer. My buddy has 26-12 I'm ganna borrow but not sure how much difference the offset is on his wheels vs my stockers.
