Let the modding begin!

Well these were the first two mods that I did!

I just finished hooking up the Viper 4k winch, went relatively easy, and the guys that sell them were great to deal with, here is a pic of the installed winch!

Here is one in the works, I am half way done. After reading up a little sounds like some people use a full windshield during the winter and a half windshield thru the summer and with how expensive they are and the abuse that they take I decided to make my own, I have a pc. of round stock running across the uprights as shown here

I am going to mill a slot thru the bar for the lexan to sit in top and bottom, which will hold it in place, the aluminum clamps will hold the bars to the roll cage as shown here,

between the bottom bar and the hood will be a sheet of aluminum welded in the slot, I am waiting for my buddy to give me a spare windshield that he has so I can make a pattern of the contour of the hood/dash. Two of the main things I am looking to accomplish is to make the lexan easily replaced after cutting it on a table saw, and secondly I can just move the top bar down to make my half windshield. After I get the machine work all done I am going to get the aluminum anodized black.
Today I found a genuine Yamaha rear bumper for 100.00 on ebay, so it should be on its way, as well as a soft top , power tip, and rearview mirror (so I can keep an eye on my boy riding behind me). Next I think some wheels and tires are in order, got to wait until some money finds its way to me! LOL
