I'll be interested to hear who opts for the HD. I bought the HD all way around for my 2 seater, and they're a bit stiff. But Im a big dude, and ride with big dudes, so thought it would be better.

Either way, these are MILES/KILOMETERS better than the stock non-reservoir for SURE.

I actually bent my stockers from jumping to where the casing of the shock was gouged up pretty good. I first installed the rear Progressive HD's and was very satisfied after a trip to the dunes. I haven't had a chance to try the fronts out yet in the dunes or trails but expect the same quality.

For anyone on a budget I would recommend these.

Let us know your thoughts and the amount of pre-load you set them to when you get them! I left them as the way they arrived (about 1/2 way), but thinking about cranking them 'down'. I think I'll lose some clearance that way though, but should be softer due to the progressive springs.

hmmm good question, I would imagine the Ranchos resevoir shocks should be a little better just because of the extra oil capacity.

And for a 4 seat set up would you do HD's in the rear and standards in the front?
Thanks for the info. and that's a great price.
