Buddy of mine in my previous video got some water in his CVT and we drained it. Belt still slipped on the way home and I took the cover off of it and it was caked with mud....how do i clean it. Have searched the forum and cant find how to get the mud out of the casing. I have taken the sheave off and we will replace it this week.
If it is caked with mud I would blast it with a pressure washer to get as much mud out as possible. Don't hit the seals on the case too hard. Then remove the sheave and disassemble it and regrease it. Use compressed air to blow all the water out of everything
fine, he made it to the other side but couldn't get up the bank. His bed was almost all the way underwater. so he sat for a minute or two till i got his cable to pull him out.
