Ground Clearance

Im looking into getting a little more ground clearance again. I have seen some people using teryx shocks to get a little more clearance but had a little dificulty instaling them (like mounting upside down). I know i want fox shocks so would the fox shocks for the teryx fit any better? Give how much more ground clearance? and if I decided to get a MTS kit later would it work with they work with that kit. I ride trails mainly and just would like a little more clearance. I have 26x9 bighorns now but again just want a little more. Shocks and mid travel are on my list of things to do anyway so would this work?

changing ground clearance with just shocks will cause a stiff ride because you are usually adjust the preload. if you start messing with a little longer shocks on stock suspension you could end up with some handleing issues. only thing i can recommend is LT or a small lift. of corse this is only my opinion... whats your ground clearance now?

im pretty much stock now with ground clearance. I just have the larger tires 26x9. The longer teryx shocks from what i understand is just like adding a lift and not like ajusting springs to add hieght.
