Long Travel axle shaft question

I'm trying to install the axle shafts that came with my long travel kit but I'm having trouble removing both CV joints off of each stock shaft. The inner CV's come off by removing a circlip but I cant figure out how to remove the outer CV's as they dont have that circlip. Also, I have a shop manual and it doesnt even show that you can remove the outer CV's. It shows the outer CV and axle shaft as one "joint shaft" assembly. My Rhino is an 07 and the kit is supposed to be for up to 07. So my question is whats the trick to removing the outer CV joint from the shaft?

thanks

I have never done axles on a rhino yet but have built some long travel ifs 4wd trucks and in order to put the new extended axle on the old cv joints you had to remove the one side that comes off then cut the axle off as close to the cv as possible and spin the inner star around and pop the remaing stub out the whole cv comes apart it is a pita don't know if that how rhino axle are but I would call the axle manufacturer and ask them

Remove the boot and hold the axle with the cv pointed down. hit it hard with a hammer and it will pop off. I usually wipe as much grease out of the way first then angle the cv a little and strike the star with a good sized double jack hammer.
