If you have questions about rotaxing your rhino ask here!!!

So many random threads have been hijacked with questions about the swap so lets start a thread for people who are considering or are in the middle of doing a rotax swap. I am not the expert but will offer whatever help I can. There are several people who have done the swap including the expert Brian B who will chime in as well I am sure if someone needs help.

Who is gonna be first?

if your going to do the harness your self i would recommend you use a razor blade to cut all the tape and wire covering off the rhino harness. the only thing you will reuse is the front diff wiring. try and keep it all uncut. it will make it easier for understanding it all and what needs to be hooked to power and ground.

oops sorry i do things differantly so you will also need the headlight wiring as well as the tail lights. i make a whole new harness so i go about it a different way and do not reuse any of the light wiring form the rhino harness.

I got one at a local fastener supply store. Eugene Fatsener Supply. I would say you could use it but I somehow misplaced it. I could have used it yesterday and it is nowhere to be found.

Do as Stacy said if you are gonna tackle the wiring yourself. I have enlarged diagrams of both with notes as to what needs to go where. I did mine a lil different though. My high and low feeds from my light switch feed relays and low turns on my stock location HIDS and high adds my LED bar and also turns on the high beam indicator in the dash.

Ok I got the rhino engine bay stripped, cleaned and ready to cut the pan out. BB should be shipping the kit early this week so thats done. I just ordered the OEM parts from Parker, talked to Bishop, nice guy real helpfull, I went ahead and ordered the 09 intake I am sure the HP will be swollowed up be my roll cage and back seat but 4 to 5hp for 87 bucks, I'll take it. I got the list of OEM parts needed from this forum so I hope it's current, I hate starting a project and have to wait for parts before I can move on.

Can anyone help me out on the clutch, I have read many threads on clutching and would like to order those parts also. Hey Donnie what r u running, my rhino is about the same weight as yours???

If anyone can think of anything I need before I start please chime in, I love all the help I can find. Thank's Brian Yamaduner

My car is prolly lighter B. I have an aluminum cage and 4-seater bed delete.

Everybody likes the dalton DB0800 clutch kit with a 650 helix(from a 650 can am), I took a different approach.......we can talk about it when you come by.

The Wiring prints have been sent out!

About the same clutching here, only I used the Dalton Renegade kit and massaged 650 helix .....worked fantastic with my 4 old V paddles ....

Since running these new super heavy 16 paddles, am hurting my belts pretty badly .....but I figured it would anyway ....suspicions confirmed .....time to reevaluate what I want to do to the old POS and will probably go the other approach also ......LANCE

...sent with TapaTalk...please excuse brevity & no smileys
