Trey at MCX is willing to build a RYR - MCX Turbo System for Rotaxed Rhino's. The kit will work on Desert Dog, and Rotax Your Rhino setups!

The catch? We have to have 10 buyers who are willing to put down a deposit on the kit, before he/we will start production.

The price will be in the neighborhood of $4000.

I know it's a long shot, but we're going to try to make this happen! MCX builds the finest UTV turbo kits in the world and have proven reliability records!

If you're dead serious, and are willing to make a deposit in the next 30 days, please reply with your contact information! Keep in mind, production will take some time. If we come up with buyers in the next 30 days, we could probably have the kits by August.

Lets make it happen!

any idea how many ponies to expect out of a turbo on a stock 800?

Most of the MCX stage 1 kits double the stock HP... not sure if this would be the same, but it shouldn't be too far off.

His Teryx kit makes 95whp on a stock 750, so I'm guessing the Rotax will be in the 110whp range!

I am working with them to try and get a componets list and pricing so that I can build the piping myself and install. If they could do the low boost kit for us at their commander advertised preseason price of $3195 I would buy one now... Anyone else?

I may be interested. I've got a stock 800 in my rhino. My worries would be keeping it cool here in Arizona. Even in Northern Arizona during the summer when it is around 80 out mine seems to want to run hot. What would the kit come with and would I have to do anything else to the stock 800 to handle the extra power? Would the Rhino be able to handle the power or would I have to change anything on it as well?

Basically it would be there turbo, gen 5 fuel controller, extra injector and mount, and an intercooler. All piping sourced elsewhere.

I just did all STM clutching to support a turbo setup. I am still running stock cv shafts, they may have to be upgraded in the future. My rear drive shaft lasted 2 rides before it broke with the new clutches... Also prob should tack weld the front diff ring gear bolts I guess they tend to back out with increased engine torque.
I am shooting for around 100hp at the crank and about 80 hp to the ground. Should be plenty to beat all the new stock side bys out there...

Any news on this ? I really wanna spank some Xp ass!! stock 800 is okay but not what i had hopped for but i am a power whore also... LOL i just dont like the idea of shifting .. i have a good friend with a r1 swap and i hate it in the dunes it fun to shoot hills but not much fun to just cruise the dunes in.. so a turbo Rotax i think is the only real option for me... And i like the fact it is still stock looking ish to the unsuspecting xp guys...

Call Trey, you can buy the parts individually and do the piping yourself.
