I have never seen these mentioned on this site but they have been available for a few months now. There is a guy in my area that has one and it's actually very cool I think for what it is. It uses the previous generation 400cc air & oil cooled engine from the utility quads with the automatic clutched 5 speed manual transmission and it certainly moved fairly well from what I could see, the guy even climbed a few decent hills.
I think the engine is made in China by a company that bought the design from Yamaha, but I'm not 100% certain. But the genuine Yamaha parts are said to interchange.

I would like to swap out the 660 engine & 4X4 drivetrain from a Rhino into one of these and slap a long travel suspension on it and I think it would kick ass! Or even leaving it 2wd and adding a big bore snow mobile engine & better suspension, the thing would haul serious ASS!

Even just adding a supercharger or turbo to the stock 400cc engine would likely be enough to make it extremely fun with the manual transmission even with the automatic clutch. At 6K you can buy one and add a forced induction system and upgraded suspension and only have a grand or two more than a stock Rhino, but no 4wd unfortunately.

Anyway I thought it was pretty cool and thought you guys out west would be interested.

Kinda looks like the Joyner. One of my friends bought a 150 for his wife to putt around in Cal City and it is surprising how much fun it is. Maybe a 350 chevy in it so it'll land rear wheels first when you get some air under it. Yea Haaaaa!!!

These things are junk....if you want something that is like this but a good product......then get a Honda Odyssey or a Pilot, very durable and reliable!!!

Junk is a harsh word. I have ridden in one and they are not to bad for 5499.00. They are great for trail riding and desert riding, sand might get them. They are a 4 or 5 speed with no clutch. Worth the money.

Sorry didn't mean to offend....but for about $2,500 you could pick a Honda Odyssey and it will be a solid proven all terrain vehical........does about the same speed but very durable.....and you can still get part for them....to this day, and they were made 20yrs ago........that is money well spent!!!!

I agree Honda pilot or Odyssey is the way to go. They were buiilt 20 years ago and still going that should tell you about their craftmanship. Stick with what works.
