85 Apache hardside popup camper.

Very rare hardside popup camper. The 85 is the last year they made these. You can still get spares for these though since there is a big following with these campers. I hate to sell it but I'm buying another RV that can also haul the rhino. This would be the ticket for a remote hunting camp.

The axles is a heavier duty after market with larger tires. The axle could be fliiped too and add another 4" of ground clearance.

This popup weighs 1700 lbs and only adds 1 MPG to my fuel consumption. It tows like it's not back there.

Check out www.apachepopups.net for more info.

Here is the original brochure.
http://www.apachecampertrailers.com/...&cat=contracts

Everything works and is watertight. I added A/C to it and is portable install with no cutting and not permanent. I also added a new bag awning. The propane regulators and bottles are all new. I added propane sensor near the floorboard of the RV. All of the little plastic bits that usually break have been replaced and I did the MEK patch of a couple of small cracked corners.

Adding pics:

Refrigerator detail. Outside temp was 70 degrees. A while back I replaced all the propane hoses and regulators everything started working better. Heater and refreigerator now are easier to light and both have piezo electric lighters. Refrigerator keeps everyhting very cold and has a 40 degree offset from the outside temp.

''You can still get spares for these though ''

Are you from the UK Curtis?

If you voted for Obama to prove you are not racist- Who are you going to vote for to prove you are not an idiot?

Wow I forgot I posted this popup. I sold this along time ago. I loved that popup but it was too rough for a family to camp in.

No I'm not from the UK. These were the original popup idea created in Michigan.

Reason I asked was you said spares instead of parts, I have friends in the UK that use the same terminology

I've worked in the hi-tech equipment field my whole career. I get the term from there.
