Winch wiring to 2nd battery

I just put in a secondary battery to run my winch. I went with the optima yellow top. My Surepower 1314 is in the mail. The winch that I am using is a Warn Work 3700#. It was free and figured it should work. Well I know it works. My question is how should I wire it up? I am leaving on a trip next week before I will get my Sure Power so for the time being it is just wired straight to the optima. Should I have this wire to a fuse block?

Will I be ok to run in parallel if my stock battery is the original? Can you explain how to run the fuse for the winch? I am terrible at electrical.

I'm getting ready to wire up my Warn 2000 winch up on my truck bed to my truck battery. I traded a set of OEM HID lights for this winch (both Used). When he sent it to me it included a brand new switch and a brand new Solenoid. Should these winches be wired through a solenoid ??
