Are all of you running some type of seperator like the Sure Power 1314/1315? Can you hook up a trickle charger (something like this) in addidtion to the seperator?

Would this charge just the battery its hooked up to? Or would the seperator allow both to be trickle charged?

Thanks for the info!

DAN

I have a charger hard wired to my Rhino and it works the same as with the alternator... when the main battery is fully charged it switches to the auxiliary battery. I had to put a switch in series with the output cables of the charger because the micro processor in the unit would pull current when the charger wasn't plugged in. When I first installed it I left it hooked up for a few weeks unplugged and it did run the battery down.
