I second that! I barley see a draw when I turn mine on. I really see a draw when I'm running all my lights.

The size and draw were the two main reasons I chose it! seems to put out pretty respectable power as well

So that's a marine amp? How much power? I'm wanting to get an amp to power four speakers and one sub from my sony head unit. Power draw is always a concern. Would this be a good amp for my application or would it be better to leave the four 6.5" speakers hooked directly to the power head and just use the amp for the sub?

This amp is designated by alpine to put out 75x4 and 300x1 for a sub channel which totals 600w,but when I looked at my test certificate from alpine it put out 106x4 and 355x1 great amp a little pricey to buy from the store 700.00 but if you watch ebay you can get one under 400.00. It seemed like the perfect choice for me being that it is 7x9 which allowed me to mount it in the glove box. If you dont mind the cost I would say a really good choice for the setup you are running
