Carb hoses and vent lines??????

where do these hoses go to from the carb. I'm putting a stock carb back on my rhino from the edelbrock i had on there. I don't have any hoses and think i need them, but don't know where they go TO.

Can someone please take a picture of their stock rhino carb and the attached hoses where they hook into.

I have #47 hooked up

I need these parts #27, 28, 29, 32, 34, 36, 48, 49
and where they hook into. I took off this stock carb a while back and don't remember ripping this much stuff out. I must of capped off some areas, but i don't remember where. Can someone take some pics and help out.

30 & 29 are vent lines for the bowl. You can just run 2 short lines and let them hang next to the engine. 47 is for the slide and comes off the stock intake tube. 34 is the drain line for the bowl.

what is the purpose of thes lines....are they even neccesary. Some pictures would make me feel a whole lot better.

The reason i wonder about them is becuase i fired the rhino up no prob but after it ran and the float filled up, it started to leak out the drain tube nipple. I checked the float height and it was good. Was wondering if any of these were vacuum lines and made a difference. They must be there for a reason.

Any pictures would be appreciated.

29 (27, 28 &32) & 36 don't actually hook to anything....they just kinda dangle next to the engine. I may have those lines though.....if I do, id be more than happy to send them to you!

Id snap some pics, but I ditched my stocker awhile ago....

carb pics

Tighten the drain screw and your drain line will not leak gas. you probably emptied it that way.

I'll get pics in a minute as both mine are open right now.

i took it off and wiggled the float around. Put it back together and it's good to go. The screw was tight, i guess the float was sticking down. May have been careless when intalling the bowl. Pics of the vent lines would be awesome. and the drain line. Does it have a check valve in the drain line for roll over.

You do need to connect the one to the intake tube, otherwise the others just hang there. The one for the fuel overflow has a oneway valve in it.

hope that helped some.

WHere else can you get this much help in 30 minutes time from posting. This website is awesome.

if you can send me all those hose and that valve, i'd be stoked. It's all i need to finish off this carb. And to adjust the cable. It's a fine line between not having enough slack to get a low idle, and not having full throttle. Got to dial it in.
