Top Speed is 39mph with a 660

So I'm figuring i need to clean the sheave out cause it's probably all gunked up. If i'm going to open it up, i want to go greaseless, i think.

What can you tell me about my options?

I'm thinking greaseless and 18g weights?

My Rhino is a 2004 660, motor is bone stock, currently I've got street tires on 14" aluminum wheels, but i also run stock 25s on steel rims.

I'd really like to get into the 50+ mph range and have it be totally reliable. Less expensive is better (no r1/rotax swaps or anything), but for the right setup, I'll spend the money.

I've searched the forum a bit because I know this has been covered, but I can't really find the key threads I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hunterworks worked well for me. MSD and greaseless OD weights on my stock 09 700 put me from 42 MPH to 52 MPH. I'm sure UTV crap would do the same. Hear good things about the both of them.

ok

ur gonna want 16 gram total weight od sliders

dynatek cdi

and maybe a orange spring if u like to climb hills or run bigger tires ...

u will see 55 and be real reliable

or u can go with a machine sheave with 16 gram total weight greaseless rollers. and get a few more mph out of it in the long run

I just did the OD 16 gram weights from UTV Crap and they work great! 54mph and now tuning carb for better top speed. I have Dynatek cdi and greasless sliders/ weights. Adding as I write a hardmount K&N in the stock air box and Dynajet carb kit.
