Question battery issues

when my rhino sits for a few weeks without starting the battery does not have enough juice to start the engine.

A friend installed the Wench so it would work when the key is not on. Could this be this issue? If so how and where do i hook it up so it only works when the key is turned on?

Yes that could be the issue. You are going to have to find a switched source to tap into, or put it on a switch. Grab a voltmeter and start poking.

you still need to find the source of whats draining the battery, but I use a Battery tender on mine when it's sitting, never have battery issues that way. Just MHO

On the back sice of the ignation you have 4 wires, two are reddish stripped, use one of those.

Your digital dash got fried, a common problem with leaving the key on and draining the battery.
