Brakes doing some weird shziet

Hey everyone, hopefully someone will know what could be going on here;
I'm a newbie, know nothing, but when I brake going slow on my new rhino it seems like the rear brakes are binding up. Only when going very slow and braking (like going down a steep hill) but even crawling to a stoplight they do it any thoughts of what it could be?
Thanks,

Binding? Lock locking up? Or making a horrible noise- which is normal for the 660 models.

You could inspect the rear brake pads but that noise is free on the 660 models, It is because the brake caliper is on the driveshaft and not the wheels.

Normal, mine did it after running a mile with the ebrake on. A new set of EBC pads fixed it. The stock pads sort of glaze over, making them chatter or grind like they are worn out, even when there is plenty of pad life left.

I added the EBC gold pads and de-glaxed the rotor. The sound is worse!
What pads did you use?

Like I said, the sound is free- and will always come back. You can try backing up while pressing semi firmly on the brake pedal to cut the glaze off the rotor but- it will be back. If you REALLY hate the noise you can install a set of Gear One outboard hubs with twin piston disc brakes but they cost about $3,000.

So, by noise, what do you guys mean? Mine sounds REALLY bad...almost like gears grinding. Only happens when I press hard on them, like going down a hill or stopping fast. I can handle a little noise, but this sounds extremely bad. Other than that, they work fine.

As I said before, check your pads but chances are the noise is yours to keep.

The newer the pads, the less noise you hear. So, buy the cheapest pads you can find and change often. The EBC severe duty was the worst for me in the noise department.
