Question how to remove rev limiter

simple question, im hoping for a simple answer.

as you all know the avg stock rhino maxes out at about 40 MPH, this is do to the rev limiter or governor, right? while talking to a friend i was told it is possible to remove this limiter. does anyone know how i can unlimited my UTV or if its even possible. its it a reasonable thing to do? how hard is it? what do i need to know and what are your guys opinion on this matter?

also, how often should i change the oil on my rhino and what kind of oil? im told diesel oil is great for UTV's and ATV's\

thanks for your help!

Use an aftermarket ECU such as the VDI or MSD unit....

As for running diesel oil in your rhino, you want to be careful about what you put in it due to the wet clutch...

2008 rhino

i found one for $400 that says i can get another 10MPH out of my rhino. is that all? it feels like it can handle a little more than that. can you show me one that is the best power for the price? i hear they are easy to install to? i have an after market cadge on my rhino that makes some parts of the engine harder to access.

this is what i have found so far:
is this right for me?

I would look into either the msd or vdi Ecu. Search the forum or call any of the site vendors on this forum for what you are trying to do.

if you are going to buy the VDI look up Unleashed UTV and call them. They are great to deal with. I just got the VDI and clutch kit from them.

Yes, we got a Dynatek ECU, simple to install and eliminated the speed limiter. (Rhino700)
