Street Legal

Anyone using their Rhino on public streets, obliviously with legal mods (turn signals, horn, etc.) and licensed? Just wondering pro's con's, running to liquor store, WallyWorld, picking up milk, etc.

My rhino have about 900 mles on it, probably about 800 of them in Onroad. I took couple times to take my kids to school or go to work also. The only bad is the heat emited by the engine and the sound.

Is pretty weird how peolple will look at you. Also you need to consider that at hi speed in wet condition it will take longer to turn.

...posi-traction and paved surfaces don't always get along. Take it easy on the tight turns. Side view mirrors are a definate plus to have installed too. It's a definate plus to be able to pull up to the gas pump and go through the drive thru window for some late night Jack-In-The -Box

Living in Arizona where a Rhino can be street legal, I drive mine all over the place on paved roads. Because of this I'm lucky to get 1200 miles out of a set of tires. Also, I wear ear plugs and only get 16 MPG around town.

Tink, do you have it tagged for on-road use or are just located in a small town that doesn't care if you ride on the road?

New update, scratch the street legal set up, checked local ordinances and they do not allow any road use other than driving to and from OHV trail heads. You can already do that on designated OHV routes and not have a license plate, well I'll save my money from mods, license plate, insurance, etc. Thanks for all the input from you guys. Gas going up and up would have been nice, guess I'll have to take the Dura Max and the Subaru instead.
