Anyone using one of these on their carb or is this another gimmick?

My kid bought me one for christmas a few years ago. I use it now and then. Attempting to determine if it improves throttle response. I honestly can't feel a difference.

installed one on my rhino 2 years ago.thought i my have noticed a slight difference,but it was so slight it may have been just my mind.maybe my mind wanted me to notice a difference since i paid $100.00 for it. i haven't seen any test results to show any improvements on a rhino.got the idea to try it from a dirt wheels article on street legal rhinos in arizona.article said they installed it to help with low end throtlle response.
