do you use floor guards

do you use floor guards? what brand do you have? are they hard to install? do they really work as good as you thought they would? Got a small hole in the driver side floor going to cover it up with Diamond Plate Floor Mats to cover up the eye sore! but am looking for some good floor guards to fix the problem for good.

I used to think that i would be good going without them. That is until one day while riding in the desert i ran over a football size rock just right and it came thru the passenger side floor board and nearly caused my passenger to crap himself. So i researched a bit and found a set from trailogic (captaz) here on the forums and put them on. Well i have ran over plenty more since then and have yet to have another one come thru the floor. Now i still have the crack in the floor but its covered with some sheet metal and rubber mats and you cant even tell its there.

I picked up a set from a guy on ebay who makes them. They go in the inner fender well and along the bottom. My girl made me get them before she went for another ride after a 3 foot long branch came into the floor and hit her in the back of the leg (thank goodness it didn't pierce her!) I looked at the ones that go inside but thought these would be better since they cover part of the front fender well and the bottom to prevent anything from getting caught on the frame and coming up thru.

They're a must... Some nasty stuff can get through the floor... There was a picture posted here a while back with a 3" diameter stick coming about 16" into the cab... anybody ?

I have em and agree... Should not trail ride without em. I have plastic coated diamond plate aluminum from the ATV-Guard Shop.

I have the Diamond plate aluminum floor liners. Saved my floor from busting many times.

Have the ones from ProArmor. Required Equipment! My buddy's replaced his floor panels twice in two years before he finally decided to put them on.

Last year the wife ran over a 2" x 10"long stick, It went though the floor board and wedged it under the brake pedal. It took three guys to remove it, had to lean the rhino over and work out the stick. I have not bought any yet, just told the wife she cant drive anymore untill we get some installed. Maybe I'll keep waiting ....LOL

Here is a pic i took with my phone sorry for the quality.

This side has more rivets cause there was a crack and hole so i drilled at the end of the cracks so they would not grow longer.
