Was easy to install and fit perfect. (just make sure you use the spacers provided, they keep the contacts away from the frame). It came with everything you will need, i was missing one lock washer (not hard to replace). Have fun with the install and put the plugs where they bennifit you and how you ride. I put my rocker switch where my wife could operate as we all know she isnt getting out in the mud to hook me up.

You have to reverse the winch if you want a plow attachment. They will arc across if to close to the frame. I tried using a 120amp fuse to protect the hot but it would still blow under heavy use, just an idea of the amperage being drawn by a winch.

I just hooked the corded remote plug up on mine and not the toggle works real well and don't have the switch sticking out on the dash. Put the female end through the knock out hole right on the dash and the corded remote just in the glove box.

I wired mine this way also, but i was worried the selenoid might stick after age. I was thinking wiring it to the key switch as a safety factor but I did not know how to do it.

Guessing this has been done, but it if you use your winch with a plow it is a must. I saw a
from a guy that tricked out a Teryx for plowing snow. He fabbed a switch on the shifter to operate the plow. I immediately went out and hooked my auxiliary remote to the shifter using a velcro tie. Works great. I have my permanent switch on the steering post and it was a pain running the plow. Cheap and effective!
