Overhead Console with Homelink, Dome Lights

Thought this might be a usefull project for some of you.
I needed to have a homelink to open my gate and garage doors ect.
Also needed a dome light... so I found a Lexus overhead console on fleabay.
The flip down sunglasses holder is handy for many little things.
A little fabricating and wiring, it is very handy.

This is really nice. Good console. How much did you get it and where? I would like to do the same to my ride.

Hi,
I did this about 3 years ago. Got a few homelinks from a shop and Ebay.
I painted it with Krylon black fusion paint, they are usaually all gray or beige.
I have full unit from a cadillac escalade, it looks different but has all the features.
I fabricated the bracet-mount and used to stock brackets and 2 from home depot.
Wiring is simple, I ran a black wire up thru the winsheild brackets.
I can send some picks of the extra home link. Also have a basic 3 door homelink in a black bracket with no lights or compartments.
