recall for rhinos

i can see how the wheel spacers can make the rhino more stable on the trails, but what about removal of the sway bar? i just do trail riding, will the sway bar removal benefit me or hurt me handling-wise on the trails?

I removed mine and it actually helped in riding the trails and climbing hills .

I just spent about 8 hours riding in a variety of terrains in a new Rhino with the voluntary repairs - and I have to say......I really can't tell the difference. No noticable difference to me with the swaybar removed, and I totally forgot there were spacers on it - of course, I was going too fast to really notice much, but hey....what can I say?

That's a relief, I thought I was the only one.

I already had the 2" spacers when they announced the "repair", so I pulled the swaybar off.

I was almost back to the trailer after my first ride with the bar off, when I remembered that I had pulled it.

I did not notice any particular difference in handling on the ride.

I noticed more body roll under hard turning, but nothing that really bothered me. It improved off-camber riding as the high side tires remained planted. I think this was the intention of the removal. You will notice very little, if anything, while riding most conditions/situations.

sway bar on makes the rear suspension work more together and keeps the body flatter during hard cornering, sway bar off makes the rear suspension work totally independent, The ride may improve some but the body will roll more during hard corners. I prefer it on but I dont have spacers because I ride some tight trails. Try it and see what you like. I come into corners WFO and powerslide into some dirt road corners, it handles better for me with the sway bar on..

Look at that......a person that rolled their Rhino and didn't try and sue Yamaha. Thanks for taking responsibility for you own actions.
