Replacing Drive Belt on a 660

Which way should the arrows point on the belt towards the primary or to the secondary?

Does not matter when new, but after that keep it that way.

New Belt

So the new belt I am putting on it does not matter which way the arrows are pointing.

But I will start them towards the rear.

No it does not matter, the arrow is there for the next time. I suppose someone could argue they are made for that rotation but it is not.

It is a convenience for maintenance.

I have swapped directions and raced with it like that. Never had a belt failure on a Rhino.

It's like radial tires. Does not matter where you put it the first time but you should not change the rolling direction during a rotation.
