Idles good but sputters when I gas it???

Im sure someone has had this problem. I have a 2006 660. This is the problem. I havent had the rhino long. Rode it 4 times now. It is snorked. The first time I went riding it did fine most of the day in mud and water. Then it starts spitting and sputtering when I gas on it. Idles fine . After a little bit it will clear up but will start sputtering again soon. I did rejet the carb but it did it again the second and third time we rode it. Also the reverse light sometime will flash. Anyone had this problem?

If the flashing reverse light correlates with the "sputtering" it is the connection at the reverse rev limit switch under the airbox...

Trace the green/wht wire back in the harness about 12" to the disconnect...ground that wire...to the motor at the battery cable under the shifter

If it eliminates the problem that is it...

Warning...with that wire grounded the reverse light will NOT come on in reverse and you will NOT have any reverse gear rev/speed limiter...

A lot of people use this trick to beat the reverse limiter for backing up hills in sand/snow/mud...

I think it is 2 different problems. It doesnt do it at the same time. Reverse light blinks when Im in water or go fast through a little water. When the unit is doing the sputtering, It wont move till it clears up. I used the DJ 155 and your pilot 47.5 and stock ndle when I jetted.

Shrek Racing keeps telling me he is going to make me some but all he does is ***** about me not ironing my clothes and breaking stuff on his rhino...

Thanks for the offer tho...

Your run-ability problems revolve around fuel deliver/metering and air flow...

Now ground that wire and see if still does it...

You have the right pilot jet...and your dj 155 is slighly bigger than the stock main jet...you should use the method and drop on jet at a time until you get max acceleration from a stop...

Do that with and without the snorkel and with and without the airbox lid so you can see the difference in how they run when air flows...

Also you have to make sure when it is sputtering you have plenty of fuel to the carb and the correct fuel level inside the float bowl...as in making sure you don't have a sticky float...which happens all the time...

Dude! I'm about to just burn this thing to the ground and call my insurance company to come get it! I grounded the wire. It wouldnt start at all. I pulled the carb off. Checked the jets and all looked fine. I pulled the fuel line loose from the carb and spun the motor over and no fuel came out of the hose. Im thinking fuel filter or pump. I founf the problem right. I took the fuel pump all apart and it all looks good. Nothing clogged or worn. Put itback together and still no fuel when I spin the motor? Do I need a fuel pump?

I would bet it's a clogged fuel filter. When I got mine it would do the same thing. It would start fine and idle fine but when it was put under load it would spit and sputter and die. All it took to fix it was a new fuel filter. It just couldn't get the fuel it needed.
