New here, 'bout to embark on an overhaul

Hey guys, found your forum by searching for a repair manual (great resource!)
Got an '06 or so Rhino 660 that's been sitting since last summer after it ran out of fuel and was towed back to the barn.

It had been suffering from an over heating issue, maybe, what was happening was it would die when under load and had to sit a minute before it would fire back up.

I'm about to tear into this with a full maintenance, fluids, carburetor rebuild, lube, project attack.

Any pointers, wisdom you can share would be terrific,

Depends on how much $ you want to spend, and how you want to run it. I would buy a 686 kit from Benchmark and you will still be able to run pump gas. Or if it was an over heating issue, get the head decked and slap a new gasket on it.
Oh......... welcome to the site

"Die under a load... had to sit a minute before it would fire up..."

It could be as simple as a clogged fuel filter.

+1 or faulty fuel pump. I replaced mine with a Black Rhino Performance electric unit.

Bingo
Got the upgraded fuel pump from UTV Crap (Thanks Jason) and it's running like a champ.
Thanks all
