Drive belt 660

Thinking of replacing the drive belt on my 04 660. It has slipped a few times when backing up a steep hill ( let's out a big squal). My question is what belt to use? What belts are you using? Any info would be great.

The oem Yami belt is the best choice. DON'T use a Dayco or Carlisle.

We stock the Yamaha belt for under a hundy

EPI severe duty is the only other choice IMO. I would still pick OEM first.

I changed my belt a 2000 miles because I felt it needed it. It came out well within spec and looking pretty good. I have kept it as a spare. The new belt was an EPI severe duty and it now has ove 3000 miles on it. I looked at it about 700 miles ago and it was still in excellent shape. It was way within spec and not cracked, checked or glazed. I am going to change it at the end of the dune season but by that time it wshould have another 500-800 miles on it.....unless it breaks now that I am talking about it.l ol

Arrrrrrrrrr we dunin yet

Turned 5000 during the weekend. I think it ended the weekend at 5054. I bet I have over 2000 miles just in the dunes last season and this one combined. So the belt has had some tough use...
