Wrench Help - What exhaust system?

My 2006, 660 Rhino exhaust rusted & both sides of the pipes fell (broke) off. I now need to replace with another one and will probably go aftermarket as the prices seem to be similar to a new "Stock" system. Unfortuneatly I need the entire system, not just the muffler & slip on pipes. I don't want loud, but a nice deep throaty sound would be nice. Performance is apprecaited, price needs to be low. Question - Which is the best bang for the buck and will last longer than 2-3 years (like my stock one) FYI, I took the fan off the engine so the exhaust runs alot hotter than normal... (this may be the reason why my stock exhaust did not last long??? Has anyone else had this problem or heard of it happening?) Anyways, I installed a clutch kit, a jet kit and a k&N filter a while ago... so any aftermarket exhaust should work fine.... Just need your help on which one to buy. My dealer wants to sell me a FMF Powercore 4 with stock header pipes.... Is this a concern (going with stock header pipes and an aftermarket pipe) or should I go with an entire system? Please help as I will be spending about $600.00 (Canadian) on the powercore 4 system, but would consider a little more if its worth it for something else.... Thank you....

Ron Woods exhaust is the best you can get for a 660. Reasonable price (cheaper than Muzzys), reasonable noise, perfect fit and reliability, huge power gains for an exhaust.
I would not buy the FMF setup.
1st choice - Ron Woods
2nd choice - Muzzy

Don't buy stock headers and use a slip on exhaust when you can gain more power for the same money. I would go with either of the choices listed above.

Or just pick up up a used, stock take-off exhaust that someone is getting rid of. At $40 or so, they're the best bet if you're just concerned with cost.

If you go aftermarket then Ron Woods with Supertrapp muffler is the best for a 660 IMHO.

I'm running without the exhaust fan also, but i have an reversible intake/exhaust fan in my console, mines an 07 and the mid pipe to head pipe is also rotten, ordered the Muzzy's, can't wait til they get here, where are you in canada? you can have my stock system with custom raptor tip for free 2, i'll send it C.O.D.....probably still seal up better than a new gibson
if your gonna buy new, go with the muzzys or R.W. otherwise your wasting your money.
