Well, got some requests out to some salvage yards looking for a 650 or 800. I know the 650 is lower geared. So would it not be possible to put a 650 gear reduction in an 800 if I find one? Trying to find the donor bike first, before I pick a rhino up. Also what about a gear swap from a 500? any lower than the 650? too low? Im not making a duner, it will be a mud runner, with 28s or so.

Not knowing exactly which gear im looking for, I did notice in the microfiche, that the gear sets in the 800 are 43, 34, 31, 29, and 20 teeth

The 650 and 500 seem to both share 43, 35, 31, 28, and 20 teeth. I assume this is where the gear reduction in the 650 occurs. Nothing else is obviously listed. Perhaps someone who has rebuilt knows better.
