102.5mm piston kits for 660 Rhinos and Raptors!

Got a worn out 686 or short rod 720?
Benchmark is now offering a cost effective solution..........

All new Benchmark 102.5mm CP forged piston kits. With the additional .5mm oversize from a standard 686 or 720 piston, you can now safely bore your worn out cylinder to this size. Previously, the only solution to a worn out 102mm bore was to replace or resleeve the cylinder. Not any more!

These pistons also feature an altered compression height to decrease the quench clearance in the combustion chamber. A tighter quench clearance helps promote turbulence and flame propagation in the combustion chamber, resulting in more power and DECREASED tendency for detonation.
Also ,we have set the compression ratio at 10.75:1. This piston kit will be perfect with premium pump fuel in a stock engine or with many other engine mods.
Finally, we also increased valve pocket depths for those that are using high lift camshafts to provide adequate piston to valve clearance.
Piston kits are available with both standard piston pins and DLC pins for an extra charge. As always, to deter piston pin galling and subsequent connecting rod failures, we highly encourage the use of DLC pins.

In a stock stroke engine, the new displacement will be 693cc. With a 4mm stroker crank, the displacement will be 726cc.

Order your new piston kit now to freshen up that tired engine!
Piston kits will be ready to ship on Monday 1/25/10.
Rhino Forums exclusive pricing is $213.75 with std pin and $297.83 with the DLC piston pin.

We will also be offering cylinders already bored to the proper size, ready for install, with a core exchange, or outright. Gaskets and other commonly needed engine parts always in stock as well.

To order, Email is the quickest way to process the order and ship your parts. We ship UPS daily.

How reliable will this setup be with stock stroke? Also what about with 4mm stroker crank? I will be doing mostly dunes and desert racing. What kind of gains could I expect with a stock motor? Thanks in advance for the info.

Reliability with this piston kit will be excellent, provided the rest of the engine is in good shape, correct jetting, etc. The DLC piston pin option dramatically reduces the probability of piston pin galling.
Power gains are moderate when only doing the piston kit by itself. Typical gains are in bottom and mid range power, with improved acceleration.
This piston is also 100% compatible with a 4mm stroker crank, provided that it uses a -2mm connecting rod length.

So would this piston with a stroker crank be my best bet for a desert motor? Just want a reliable motor with a little more power that I can run full throttle all day long. If so, could you shoot me some prices? Thanks again

Personally....I wouldnt go straight to this piston...its just a fix for the guys that have wore out 102mm bore cylinders so you can use them 1 more time before you have to buy a new cylinder.

Perfect for worcs. They have a 700 and below class, no more 727 for me. This way I don't have to race the rzr and teryx any more.

Maybe, It's nice having the class structure they have. And no pilots!
