I recently put an electric fuel pump on my 07 660 thinking it would help to start my rhino because it sits for so long between rides. It didnt seem to help out. I still have to crank the motor over and over for a lond time to get it to start.I blocked off the return line per the instructions but have read that some of you dont do this. Could this be one reason why? any input would be appreciated.
Mine does the same thing. When hunting season is in....no problems, but off season the Rhino sits weeks on end without use. I have to crank it over for a long time before it fires off. I run a aftermerket CDI and I have re-jetted, but still have a tough time starting if I don't start at least once a week. Good luck and if you find something let the rest of us know!
motor is shot ...... no compression ........ valves way out of adjustment. My was the same before I had the top end rebuilt. starts right away now. I too tried the electric fuel pump with no luck. Do you burn oil also? Just a thought
Yes I have rejetted and I know my motor is good only about 200 miles. It just seems Im not getting any fuel. I have cleaned the carb and it will fire on starting fluid.I know the pump works. it seems that when I put the fuel line on the carb it is pressure blocked.
try puting a stock pump back on and see what happens. with the electric pump u may need a regulator it might be giving it to much fuel and loading the cylinder drowning the plug out or it might not be pumping enough fuel. or like said before the cdi might be breaking down and not firing right to. lot of possible things. but i hope u get it fixed good luck.
did you check the stock fuel filter? Also, are you sure you have gas in the tank?
